1. Promotion Overview

For a limited time, customers can secure a place on selected Explore small-group tours with a $1 per person promotional deposit.
This reduced deposit is a temporary promotional payment and does not replace the full standard deposit required for the booking.
 

2. Promotion Period

• This promotion is valid for bookings made between 30 April 2026 and 28 May 2026.
• Explore reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion at any time without prior notice.

3. Travel Window

This promotion applies to eligible tours departing on or before 15 March 2027.

4. Eligibility

Applicable for the Australian and New Zealand markets
This offer applies to:

• Selected Explore small group tours only
• Land only bookings
• Bookings made via direct or approved trade agents
• One booking  and trip per person under this promotion

Explore reserves the right to cancel or amend any additional bookings made by the same customer under this promotion.
 

5. Exclusions

This promotion does not apply to:

• Tours or elements with non-refundable deposit (NRD) requirements (see exclusion list)

If any non-refundable elements are added to a booking after confirmation, the booking will immediately become subject to full standard deposit and cancellation terms, and this promotion will no longer apply.
 

6. Booking & Payment Terms

• A $1 per person promotional deposit is required at the time of booking to secure a place
• The remaining balance of the standard deposit must be paid no later than 4 months prior to departure
• If the departure date is 4 months before the departure, then the full standard deposit must be paid
• The full holiday balance must be paid no later than 70 days prior to departure, in line with Explore’s standard payment policy

If a booking is made within 70 days of departure, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the remaining deposit or full balance by the required deadlines will result in cancellation of the booking and loss of monies paid.
 

7.  Amendments & Changes

• Customers may make one free change (date or tour), provided the request is made and confirmed before 28 May 2026
• After this date, any changes will:
  • Require payment of the full standard deposit immediately
  • Be subject to Explore’s standard Booking Conditions and Flexible Booking Conditions

After the promotion period ends, standard deposit, amendment, and cancellation terms apply to all bookings.
 

8.  Deposit & Flexibility

The $1 per person deposit secures a booking on a limited promotional basis only. The remaining balance of the standard deposit must be paid no later than 4 months prior to departure. Full Explore booking conditions, including cancellation and flexibility terms, will apply only once the full standard deposit has been paid. Prior to this point, flexibility is limited to the terms outlined within this promotion.

 

9.  General Conditions

• This promotion cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, or promotion unless explicitly stated. This promotion may be used in conjunction with the Loyalty Discount and Recommend a Friend scheme.
• No cash alternative is available
• For trade bookings, agents are responsible for ensuring customers are informed of these Terms & Conditions
