We're 43 years old - started in 1981. We started in the UK and opened our Australian office 2 years ago now.

We have lots of solos travelling with us - typically around half of each group, in fact. You can choose to share with another traveller of the same sex, or you can have your own single room for the duration. There's just a single supplement to pay, which is outlined on the trip page along with the tour price.

We find it's a real mix of ages - 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and even 70s! Our sales team can give the approximate age range of anybody booked onto each departure before you book.

It's usually a real mix. Essentially, it's your choice - the tour leader may suggest some restaurants or offer to book a table for the group, but there's no requirement to eat with the group if you'd prefer to do your own thing.

It's a wonderful destination isn't it, we have a brilliant local team there who know all the great alternatives if anything needs to be adjusted due to closures, weather challenges or anything like that!

We don't provide insurance but recommend Covermore, which provide policies that cover our trips and all activities etc.

The typical season is from April through to the end of September, July and August is really hot - up to 45 degrees so worth avoiding if you don't like the heat too much. Earlier in the season - March to June is perfect as spring flowers are out and its starting to warm up which is lovely.

English is widely spoken in most areas but the locals absolutely appreciate efforts to speak the language, so feel free to give it a go.
