Dalmatian Coast Jump in the saddle to explore long stretches of golden-sand beaches lapped by azure-blue seas along Croatia’s sun-drenched Dalmatian Coast. Pedal atop pearlescent cliffs towering above the rocky shores and peer over the edge to discover heavenly bays teeming with exotic marine life. Soak up the sweet smell of lavender as you ascend into the leafy hills of Hvar and lose yourself in the picture-perfect scenery as you coast down to the harbour to have lunch overlooking the glistening ocean. Korcula Island Explore the flourishing island of Korcula on two wheels to uncover fertile vineyards, medieval sandstone dwellings, vibrant terracotta roofs and idyllic bays gilded with golden sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters. Pedal along quiet roads into the vast rural hillsides to uncover the island’s oldest settlement and feel the warm breeze rush past your face as you freewheel to the traditional fishing village of Zavalatica to savour the catch of the day. Split Cycle to the historic town of Split to discover a bygone era of pre-Romanesque churches, Gothic chapels and alleyways lined with narrow, cobblestone streets and rustic townhouses adorned with faded emerald-green shutters. Little boutique shops draw you in to browse their eclectic wares, and tasty treats can be enjoyed in rustic hole-in-the-wall cafes. Top-up the energy levels with a feast of fresh fish in one of the promenade’s waterfront restaurants and rest tired legs on the pristine golden-sand beaches. Parenzana Trail Go beyond the beaten track and pedal along the dusty trails of a disused railway line on the famous Parenzana route from Portoroz to Porec. Meander through the verdant Istrian hills, past olive groves and vineyards, across river gorges and through medieval villages en route to the hilltop town of Buje. From here, it's a fast descent down to the glistening azure-blue sea and a pedal along the coastline to the ancient peninsula town of Porec where the ornately decorated Euphrasius basilica awaits.
