My love of travel started while I was an English teacher in China and the Czech Republic. Next, I worked as an Editor and Senior Editor at DK Travel and Rough Guides (two leading travel guidebooks publishers), hosted a travel podcast and was the Senior Features Writer at  loveEXPLORING.com.

My most recent adventure took me across South East Asia and South Korea, where my favourite experience was driving the Thakhek Loop in Laos. The landscapes were endlessly stunning - I couldn’t have asked for a better setting to deal with daily flat tyres! I’ve also loved skiing in Bulgaria, dancing the night away in Nashville’s honky tonk bars and eating okonomiyaki in Osaka… the list goes on.
