NEW! Tour Styles - Simply Explore - Classic Explore - Premium Explore
What style of adventurer are you? Explore adventures now come in three distinct styles: if you’re looking for something simple, fun and flexible, choose Simply Explore; for authentic travel experiences in inspiring destinations, try our popular Classic Explore tours; or, for the classic experience with a little more comfort, look out for Premium Explore. The choice is yours. Our new Tour Styles replace the old Budget and In Style categories.

NEW! Tour Pace - Relaxed - Moderate - Busy - Full-on
You’ll now find all our holidays (except for the walking, trekking and cycling tours) have a new Tour Pace rating. This replaces our old Active Ratings. The Tour Pace ratings are better suited for many Explore trips, which although they may not be especially ‘active’ are often busy with early starts, long journeys and tiring sightseeing visits.

Tour Comfort - Basic – Simple – Standard - Comfortable
We’ve replaced our previous Comfort Ratings with four new Tour Comfort categories: basic, simple, standard and comfortable. You told us the old comfort ratings were easy to confuse with hotel star ratings, so we’ve changed the grades to make them clearer.

Trek Grades and Cycle Grades - Easy – Moderate – Challenging – Tough
Just a small change here: we’re using the word Challenging instead of Strenuous. Again, this was based on your feedback.

How will these changes affect my booking?
If you have chosen and booked holidays using our old tour grades you may be wondering how these changes affect you. The short answer is: not at all.
If the tour itself has changed we will have contacted you already. If you’ve not heard from us you can assume nothing’s changed on the tour – only the names and descriptions of the new categories are different.
