Located in Snowdonia National Park, Snowdon is the highest mountain in England & Wales - in terms of its actual height it punches way above its weight. – the dramatic ice carved cliffs and valleys giving it a most dramatic setting. Walking with a qualified mountain leader, we follow a path that climbs to the summit at 1085m. Along the route we can enjoy the rugged Welsh landscapes and the rare plant species of this designated national nature reserve.

Climb Mount Snowdon
Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, is the objective of this walk. The route uses the Pyg and Miner's paths from Pen-y-Pass. A classic route to Snowdon's summit, this walk involves the least climbing to reach the summit and is through dramatic mountain scenery. The Miners' track, so called because it used to be used by the copper miners of Snowdon for walking back to Llanberis or Bethesda after their week's work.

Today for those who want to explore more of the area there is the opportunity to take a 2 to 3 hour walk which includes forest tracks, the beautiful lake of Llyn Padarn, the historic Welsh Slate Museum, fabulous views of Snowdon and the Llanberis Pass. Alternatively there are many adventure activies including sea kayaking which can be arranged locally. We will be back to the hotel by miday for check out for those of you wishing to arrange onward journeys.
