Tourism manager suggests visiting south of the country
People planning adventure holidays should visit South Australia, as it is a "diverse" nation with many opportunities for travellers hoping to inject activity into their trips.
That is according to Janice Kurrle, the marketing manager at South Australian Tourism Commission for the United Kingdom, who said that the region offers a range of opportunities almost as vast as Australia itself.
"The beauty of Australia … [is that] there is such a diversity of activities and - because of the weather - the outdoor climate is what draws the British people," she said.
"It is a country of diversity but also the weather lends itself to outdoor pursuits and that is as varied as you want it to be. You can go cycling, visit the Great Barrier Reef, or go walking."
People planning adventure holidays or activity trips in Australia may visit one of the countries fantastic parks, such as Blue Mountains National Park.
