Thrill seekers looking for an adventure holiday may like to consider going kite surfing on the Red Sea in Egypt.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Soma Bay on the Red Sea is a newly developed resort, where tourists may like to stop at during an activity holiday in Egypt.
The news provider states: "[Spend time] learning how to kite-surf ... where the pros use video and headset aids to teach.
"And if this sport turns out not to be your thing, there is a great sky bar and chill-out area where you can sip a cold beer or a cocktail while you watch the experts out in the bay."
It is also noted that the area boasts beautiful beaches and some of the world's best coral reefs.
Sporting enthusiasts are also able to take part in snorkling, scuba diving and wind surfing, the news provider added.
Soma Bay is located 45 km from Hurghada International Airport.
