Chile offers plenty of options for adventurous tourists
The South American country Chile could be a good option for those seeking an adventure holiday as the country has a "diverse terrain" and "natural attractions".
That is according to Judy McEuen, the travel writer for Troy Media, who reveals that Chile has desert, sand dunes, lakes and icebergs.
She wrote: "You never have to leave the country, no matter what kind of adventure you fancy.
"All you have got to do is open a map of Chile and you will find the perfect setting for the outdoor activity of your choice."
One option that tourists on an activity holiday could take part in is having a soak in a pool of hot spring water, Ms McEuen notes. Visitors can do this while watching the mist in Termas de Puritama.
Another option could be the "extraterrestrial terrain" of the Atacama Desert, which is considered to be the driest place on earth.
