Destination offers 'big five' safari opportunities and so much more
South Africa is a great destination for people planning an adventure holiday tour as there are so many different things to see in this land of "breath-taking diversity".
That is according to a writer in the adventure travel magazine Wanderlust, who noted that the country is not only ideal for people planning to take safari adventure holidays, but also people on all kinds of trips.
"As well as the Big Five in Kruger [National Park], safari enthusiasts can spot ... whales off Hermanus and penguins at Boulder's Beach, Cape Town," the writer noted on the publication's website.
"South Africa also has a rich range of cultures and peoples [and] with 11 official languages, it truly is the Rainbow Nation."
The Wanderlust writer added that, such is the nation's vast diversity, even if people have visited the destination before, "you'll have many more South Africas left to see".
One of the most popular attractions in South Africa is Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, which offers the densest population of rhino in Africa.
