Travellers planning an adventure holiday in South America might want to visit Argentina, as the range of different ecosystems means there are many different activities people can do.
That is according to Argentina's Ministry of Tourism, who say on their website that the beautiful and vast natural landscape is ideal for people exploring on adventure holidays.
"Argentina's wide variety of ecosystems is reflected on the great number of activities that can be enjoyed throughout the country," the website notes.
"Each location offers a range of opportunities for visitors to enjoy in close contact with nature [while each location is] surrounded by landscapes that make visitors feel like discoverers."
Another great destination for adventure holidays in South America is Brazil, the infrastructure of which will improve in the coming years, as the nation prepares to host the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, according to the Brazilian tourism board Embratur.
