Britons who are looking for adventure holidays should head to South Africa, it has been claimed.
TV and radio presenter Jamie Theakston revealed that he is soon set to embark on his first ever trip to the country and is looking forward to enjoying a range of adrenalin-fuelled activities.
"The main reason for my trip is to find out just how exciting South Africa can be," he said.
"For me it is going to be a real adventure and I'm going to be doing things I have never done before, including bungee jumping in the football stadium in Durban, and diving with the sharks. But for me it will really be about embracing the adventure."
Mr Theakston joins three other celebrities, Gloria Hunniford, Monty Don and Chris Packham, as brand ambassadors for South Africa Tourism's latest marketing campaign.
