People planning to take a solo holiday to eastern Europe may be interested to know that Michael Palin's landmark series on the area is returning to our screens.
Michael Palin's New Europe, which was first made for the BBC in 2007, will be repeated on Freeview channel Yesterday, starting on July 12th.
The travel documentary, which is made up of seven one-hour episodes, sees the former Monty Python star travel beyond the old 'iron curtain' to destinations that were once out of bounds to western travellers.
In the first episode, which will air at 8pm on July 12th, Palin travels through a variety of countries which are ideal for people planning adventure holidays: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Albania.
Yesterday - formerly known as UKTV History - is available on Freeview channel 12, Virgin Media channel 203 and on Sky, where it can be found on channel 537.
