Country's natural sights are among the best in the world
The Seychelles is a great destination for people planning to explore nature on an adventure holiday.
That is according to broadcast journalist Andrea Catherwood, who travelled to the island nation with her family and wrote about her "glorious" experiences for the Daily Mail.
"The drama of the coastline is unique. Rainforest-covered mountains give way to prehistoric rock formations smoothed by 75 million years of waves," she said.
"They rise from turquoise water teeming with exotic marine life and dazzlingly white beaches fringed by Coco de Mer palms … It delivers seclusion, romance and natural beauty."
Andrea Catherwood has been a senior reporter for both ITV News and Five News. She was one of the first reporters into the Afghani city of Mazari Sharif after it was captured from the Taliban in 2001.
The Seychelles are located just off the coast of Africa, to the north of Madagascar. This location offers a relatively stable temperature range of between 26 and 30 degrees Centigrade on the island of Mahe.
